#Support rix software#
Together, RIX software tools empower people to gain choice and control in their lives and enable education, health and care teams to shape their best possible learning, care and support, helping them to live their lives to the full. The RIX EasySurvey software provides a highly accessible way to gather feedback and get insights into people’s views. Their format ensures the individual is at the centre of interventions and decisions made by professionals, with the fullest possible understanding between everyone involved. They serve as personal plans, records of achievements and accessible repositories for important information about the person. Using video, pictures, sound and words, Wikis help individuals to organise their thoughts and communicate up to date information about themselves with the key people in their lives. The RIX Wiki at the heart of the platform combines multimedia with a mind-map design to enable people to build their own personal websites that capture and share what is important to them. The Multi Me software also includes a visual Calendar and a Goal-setting tool. A multimedia Diary helps people keep friends and supporters up-to-date, and assists carers with person-centred case management. This enables everyone in the person’s support circle to work together on their behalf, and simple features ensure carers and professionals can communicate effectively with each other in a joined-up way. The Multi Me platform combines easy to use personal organiser tools with a secure online network, providing a safe and effective online support network for people of all abilities. Our suite of tools uses multimedia to give people easy, accessible ways to communicate their thoughts, needs and aspirations and to organise the support that they need to lead the lives they want to live. There is an unbelievable strength in numbers and no one can, nor should have to go through that battle alone.RIX software brings the voice of people with learning disabilities, autism and similar support needs into the heart of their education, care and wellbeing. It impacts everyone from family and friends to old teammates and classmates, who have all jumped at the chance to help. Perhaps the most important being that cancer does not merely affect the person that is diagnosed. I have learned several things watching Mikaela and Marguerite fight for their lives. Traveling is another hobby of mine and I certainly intend on rescheduling all of my pre-pandemic trips for the post-pandemic world! I live in New York City, and have been here over the course of the pandemic and can proudly say that the city is most certainly alive again! When I am not at the office, I like to spend my time at the beach, playing golf, going for a run, reading or trying out a new restaurant in the city. This time around, Mikaela and I were fortunate enough to be in the same city, so I was able to be there for her during her treatments and save some money on Amtrak’s! Prior to my starting at MS, Mikaela was diagnosed with Breast cancer. I work on the Cash-Sales Trading desk in the Institutional Equities Division, just 3 floors above Mikaela. As a result, I was able to travel to and from Baltimore to Long Island to be there for a majority of Marguerite’s treatments.Īfter graduation, following two summers of internships, I started my career on Wall Street at Morgan Stanley. Luckily (if you choose to look at the bright side of things), a knee surgery in the fall left me ineligible to participate in our Fall Ball season. Right before the start of my Senior year, Marguerite was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. At Hopkins, I was a member of the Women’s Lacrosse team for four years that was led by Janine Tucker. I went to Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD where I graduated with a Bachelors’ degree in International Studies and a minor in Entrepreneurship & Management. I graduated from the Garden City High School in 2015, where I played both Field Hockey and Lacrosse over the four years. I am the youngest of the Rix girls and grew up in Garden City, New York.
